About CellectCell

CellectCell, Inc. is a development-stage company dedicated to providing novel cell isolation tools for life science research.  CellectCell, Inc. was formed in 2015 and is based in Atlanta, GA.  CellectCell has developed novel label-free technology that isolates stem cells quickly and with high specificity, sensitivity and purification efficiency.

The method for isolating cells based on their unique adhesive signature was developed by five researchers at Georgia Tech: Ankur Singh, Shalu Suri, Hang Lu, Todd C. McDevitt, and Andrés J. García. Based on the successful ongoing use of the technology in their research labs, Dr. García and Dr. McDevitt partnered with the experienced team at Medtown Ventures to form CellectCell, Inc. CellectCell holds the exclusive worldwide license from Georgia Tech for the technology.

Dr. McDevitt and Dr. García together have more than 45 years of academic stem cell research, engineering and biomanufacturing experience. Their labs have published more than 180 articles, and they are the recipients of several prestigious awards. The Medtown Ventures team has a combined 90+ years of experience in life science and medical device management, commercialization, sales, operations, and product development, with specific experience driving rapid success of start-up companies.
